GENERAL INFORMATION FOR ALL HORSE COMPETITORS/EXHIBITORS FOR THE 2024 TUMUT SHOW, COMMENCING 9 AM SHARP:

  • Entry to all classes is free.

  • Results will be forwarded to RAS for consideration.

  • Judges' decision is final.

  • All competitors must complete and sign the indemnity waiver form HERE or HERE before being allowed into the arena. This includes all riders/handlers/strappers and parents/caregivers who are leading children on their horses. All must wear an indemnity wristband given after the waivers are signed.

  • Compete at your own risk.

  • The Tumut Show Society will not be responsible for any accidents caused through or by any competitor or exhibitor. No responsibility will be held by the Tumut Show Society for any loss, misdelivery, or damage to any exhibit or livestock of any kind.

  • All riders must wear protective helmets complying with the current Australian standards AS/NZS 3838.

  • No person other than competitors, judges, officials, and stewards is permitted in the ring at any time.

  • The Tumut Show Society committee and stewards have the right to alter and change the program at any time.

  • Competitors must choose between Open Hack and Show hunter classes.

  • Competitors in Ring 1 are not eligible to compete in Ring 3. Competitors in Ring 3 are not eligible to compete in Ring 1.

  • The use of electric fencing to contain any livestock on show day at the Tumut showground is PROHIBITED.

  • All horses may be subject to drug testing conducted by the ASC.

  • LUNCH BREAK AT 12:30 PM, WITH THE OPENING OF THE SHOW AND THE GRAND PARADE AT 1 PM. All award recipients are invited to participate in the Grand Parade.

  • The horse show office is located on the edge of the show ring between the ring and the horse yards on the East Street side of the showgrounds.

Non Jacket events. For competitors who don't regularly compete in showing. Competitors are encouraged to wear a tie and neat tidy riding clothes. Helmets must be worn at all times.
Competitors in Ring 3 are not eligible to compete in Ring 1
