Entry Fees: $1 per entry, capped at a maximum of $10. Additional entries beyond 10 are free of charge.
Awards:
⦁ Best in Section - Champion Exhibit Ribbon and gift voucher from Jill Lorimer
⦁ Best Quilt - Gift voucher from The Cotton Merchants
⦁ Best Cross Stitch - Gift Voucher from Pam Merrigan
Conditions:
⦁ All submitted work must be the bonafide creation of the exhibitor and should not have won a prize at any previous Tumut Show.
⦁ All entry forms must be submitted by 5:30pm on Thursday.
⦁ All exhibits must be in the hands of the stewards no later than 8:00 am on Friday.
⦁ Entries in classes 20 to 22 are limited to one entry per person.
⦁ The submitted work must have been created within the last 12 months.
⦁ All entries are to be fully finished/mounted/framed.
1. Canvas Threadwork - includes Long Stitch and Tapestry
2. Counted Threadwork - Hardanger, Blackwork etc
3. Cross Stitch - worked on aida (no stamped)
4. Cross Stitch - worked on even weave/linen
5. Surface Embroidery - flat or raised stitches, ribbon work, metal threads etc
6. Any other creative embroidery - slow stitching, free motion art, punch needle etc
7. Small Quilt - no one side bigger than 165cm - quilted by hand or machine
8. Patchwork Quilt - professionally quilted
9. Patchwork Quilt - quilted by hand
10. Patchwork Quilt - quilted with machine
11. Quilt including Appliqué - any size - pieces applied by hand stitching
12. Quilt including Appliqué - any size - pieces applied with machine
13. Group Quilt - any technique and size - made by more than 1 person - can be professionally quilted
14. Article made with English Paper Piecing - hexies or other shapes
15. Wall hanging - any technique - can have pockets, rods, or rope/ribbon, etc
16. Creative Cushion - any technique - no one side bigger than 50cm
17. Article for kitchen use - any technique - pot holder, trivet, oven mitts, etc
18. Any other decor article - any technique - table topper, bed runner, door stop, etc
19. Bag - main medium must be fabric - tote, crossbody, clutch, etc
20. Fabric Garment for an adult - including aprons
21. Fabric Garment for a baby/child including bibs
22. Soft Toy - main medium must be fabric - animal, doll, ball, activity cube, etc
23. Article suitable for a small gift - any technique - bookmark, handkerchief, etc
24. Sewing Accessory - any technique - pin cushion, needle case, scissor keep, etc
25. Article by a person over 70
26. Article by a person under 18
27. Article by a person under 12
28. Any other article not mentioned
